WATER: Watershed Protection, Green Infrastructure, Equity, & Resiliency
This research stream investigates watershed-based planning, watershed-wide land use changes, watershed protection, flood mitigation, and green infrastructure planning with a focus on equity, environmental justice, and community resiliency. It uses “spatial planning models” that integrate ecological and socioeconomic indicators and consider triple bottom line community benefits (e.g., social, environmental, and economic benefits).
