Rowan University Planning Studio 2022
Community perceptions of food insecurity and healthy food access
in Camden, NJ
In spring 2022, eight motivated students from the Planning Studio, offered by Rowan University's undergraduate and graduate planning programs offered in the Department of Geography, Planning, and Sustainability, studied community food insecurity and food inequity issues in Camden, NJ, with a focus on Waterfront South and Bergen Square neighborhoods. The studio collaborated with Camden-based nonprofits Invincible City, Heart of Camden, and Shalom Baptist Church, as well as Rowan University Community Planning + Visualization Lab. The team members delivered their final presentation to neighborhood residents and stakeholders. The purpose of this webpage is to share final outputs from this studio.
